Senegal Bond Yields Jump After Moody’s Credit-Rating Downgrade

Yields on Senegalese dollar bonds jumped after Moody’s Ratings warned there’s a growing risk that the West African nation may need to restructure its debt.
The rate on securities maturing in 2031 climbed 24 basis points to 13.15% by 10:07 a.m. in London, while the yield on the nation’s 2048 loans rose eight basis points to 11.62%.
